This feel puts you in the sunshine and gets you dancing with an Allmann Brothers intro and a funky wah pedal throughout to even rattle Shaft. Lead break included of course.

This song makes me think of the singer from MC5 grooving around when I sing it. The lyrics were going to be a new Def FX song when we briefly reformed in 2017 … but then that didn’t happen (a couple of Cat 5 hurricanes hit the Caribbean island where I lived at the time and I couldn’t get to Australia.) So I saved the lyrics, and they fit this groovin’ riff. It’s about not letting anything in life get you down for too long. Keep moving, don’t get stagnant … turn your face to the sun and let the shadows fall behind you.
