One of my favourite tracks, obviously stemming from our love of 70s music. Possibly conjuring up The Dark Knight himself with an influence from Black Sabbath. Then throwing some white lightning into the mix with a fast and heavy Kyuss type outro. Watch out for this one live, we may take it elsewhere!

I love this heavy song and how beautiful it is to play on guitar – just hit it hard and ride the waves of feedback! The title is a play on the idea of a ‘dark night of the soul.’ The lyrics are adapted from a ritual of rebirth from deep despair and depression, asking for the blessings of the dark Goddess, Hecate: “Life me higher, purge from me, my darkest hour.”
