Musically, this is born from the depths of some master born on the wrong side of town at the crossroads, with influences sounding like a mix of The King and Black Keys.
Followed with a ring laden heavy chorus and blues licks poking you in the belly all the way.

The name of the song came to me because Artemis is Goddess of the Hunt and the crescent moon – and moon rhymes with blue…! The song is a love binding spell with a handfasting ritual of red woven wool to seal their love. These two people are bound together for a year and a day… or as long as love lasts. This is the traditional Witches wedding. I was thinking of Amy Winehouse and Diana Ross’s back-up singers as I sang the tracks for this song!
